This vlog is of my experience as I was invited on a business familiarisation trip to Oslo, Norway. The trip was organised by Nordic Choice Hotel Group, The MICE Guru (a local destination management company) and Norwegian Airlines.

It was a trip organised for event planners from the UK to get them to experience what Oslo has to offer for meetings, incentives, conferences and events. From flying over with the national carrier to staying in the largest event hotel in Norway to experiencing cultural and active group activities to discovering attractions and local gastronomy - this was my 48 hours in the capital.
This was my itinerary of 48 hours in Oslo:
Day 1: AM arrival from Cologne. Transfer to hotel. Walk over to Clarion Hotel Oslo followed by site inspection and lunch. Ipad Rally through the city ending up at Hotel Amerikalijnen. Cocktails and site inspection at the hotel. Walk back to Clarion Hotel Hub followed by dinner at Restaurant Norda.
Day 2: Morning transfer to go on RIB boat tour through the fjords. Coffee and cinnamon roll stop at a cafe en-route to Astrup Fearnley Museum. Site inspection and tour of AF Museum. Walk over to The Thief for lunch and site inspection. Transfer to Holmenkollen for a tour and absailing down from the top! Transfer to FRAM Museum then onto Vigeland Park tour of the sculptures. Back to hotel then refresh and head to dinner at Sudoest Restaurant. Party at TAKET club till late.

This is no sleepy little Norwegian city - it is alive with action and culture especially with the soon to open Edvard Munch Museum next year. It is a fantastic destination for events of all kinds and there is SO much to do, see, eat and experience and surprisingly not as expensive as you'd think compared to other European destinations like London, Paris, Madrid and Amsterdam! Hit up the Scandics! You won't regret it.
