Influencer marketing is a form of social media marketing involving endorsements and product or service placements from influencers.
Influencers are people and organisations who have built a trusted level of knowledge and social influence in their field.
In the global events industry, these are specifically event professionals who are highly visible and active across a variety of social media platforms and who are thought leaders in one or more areas such as virtual events, incentive travel, destination marketing for example.
I work with hotels, venues, suppliers, destinations, organisations and shows on influencer marketing campaigns to:
- raise, build and strengthen brand awareness and exposure
- increase engagement with targeted event planner communities and audiences
- drive leads and generate revenue for product/services

Copenhagen Convention Bureau
I am currently working on an annual paid social media campaign with the Copenhagen Convention Bureau creating content and marketing this destination to event planning professionals globally with a specific focus on the UK and European market.
The deliverables are:
4 VLOGS - one created per season: Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn to showcase venues, activities and key messages of the destination like safety, sustainability, innovation, etc in every season.
2 Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter posts per month on a specific agreed topic

This was a 3-month virtual social media campaign paid collaboration designed to highlight Singapore as the go-to global business event destination and Asia-Pacific node.
The key focus was to feature safety, trust and innovation in the destination as it works hard to 'return' to safe live, in-person events as well as successfully delivering virtual and hybrid event models.
Deliverables:
1 Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter post every week per month (3 months)

This was a paid collaboration with MICEBoard - a sales and marketing online portal that promotes international meeting suppliers to German-speaking event planners market.
They organise a series of events annually such as this one called MICEPeak.
Deliverable:
For this project, I attended as PRESS and created a social media campaign of my experience as a 'hosted buyer' of the 3 day event that took place in Riga, Latvia. I worked alongside the organiser as well as the Riga Convention Bureau and Latvia Tourism to deliver social media content across my social media platforms as well as a series of VLOGs to showcase the trip.View more details...Vienna House Andel's Berlin Hotel
This was a 6-month influencer marketing campaign for the Vienna House Andel's Berlin Hotel.
The campaign was designed to raise property and brand awareness and highlight the key selling features of this MICE property. The target audience was event planners based in Europe and UK.
Deliverables:
1 x post per week on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
1 x VLOG per month on a specific topic (posted also to YouTube)
